IROHA CRAFT (Atelier Iroha First-Class Architect Office, CEO: Kenji Chiba) and Nirasakiya LLC have launched tenant recruitment for a challenge shop program at AMEYOKO 9, a new venue in Americaya Yokocho, Nirasaki City, Yamanashi Prefecture. The program targets young aspiring restaurant owners, providing a fully equipped space with commercial kitchen, HVAC, fixtures, and parking for a six-month contract period. Located directly in front of the landmark Americaya building — the symbol of Nirasaki's renovation-led urban renewal — tenants benefit from heavy foot traffic and an established community of local business owners and architectural professionals from IROHA CRAFT. The initiative aims to transform Nirasaki into a town where young entrepreneurs can take their first steps with minimal financial risk, paying only monthly rent and utilities instead of the typical multi-million-yen startup investment. Tenants can also personalize the interior with a self-renovation wall to express their brand identity. The program is jointly operated by IROHA CRAFT handling spatial design and Nirasakiya providing real estate management and community integration support.
