As high-performance keyboards continue to evolve, user interest in input devices is expanding from mere response speed to usage habits, key layouts, and stable operability over long hours. Especially in the Japanese market, whether a product achieves a balance between performance and everyday usability has become an important deciding factor in product selection.
A JIS layout model tailored for the Japanese market will be introduced for AULA's magnetic key switch-equipped keyboard 'HERO84', and will be progressively available at select electronics retailers domestically starting April 7, 2026. While inheriting the excellent technology of magnetic switches, this model optimizes the key layout for Japanese users and simultaneously rolls out new color variations, making it a product that closely aligns with the needs of Japanese users in terms of both usability and design.
Retaining Essential Function Keys in a Compact Design for Smooth Operability
While adopting a compact layout, the HERO84 solidly retains important keys such as arrow keys, function keys (F1 to F12), and frequently used control keys.
In actual use, users can seamlessly switch windows, call up functions, and move the cursor without heavily relying on frequent shortcut key combinations (simultaneous presses). This layout enables more natural operation during text input, multitasking, and gameplay, and because it feels close to a conventional keyboard, it greatly reduces operational stress.
