(NYSE: ALV, SSE: ALIVsdb), a global leader in automotive safety systems, today announced that it has entered into a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Great Wall Motor (GWM), a leading Chinese automotive manufacturer, through its subsidiary Autoliv (Shanghai) Management Co., Ltd. ("Autoliv"). This agreement marks a new phase in the long-term global partnership between the two companies.
This new contract builds upon the collaboration established in 2023, reflecting both companies’ shared commitment to further deepen their global cooperation in response to the evolving needs of the automotive industry.
Through this agreement, Autoliv and GWM will enhance resilience in global markets and strengthen competitiveness through closer collaboration. The partnership particularly focuses on supporting GWM’s further global expansion. It also establishes a solid foundation for long-term, high-quality growth and a more integrated global partnership.
Under the updated framework, the two companies will expand cooperation in key areas such as global business growth, supply chain integration, localized operations, development of integrated safety systems, and sustainable growth. The partnership will also support continuous capability enhancement and further strengthen collaboration in innovation and product strategy.
