B-EN-G Acquires Smart Glass Developer to Expand 'On-Site DX' Business

Business Engineering Corp. (B-EN-G) announced that it has acquired all shares of FieldCross Inc., a developer and provider of industrial smart glasses and remote support software, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary as of May 28, 2026. While the impact on consolidated earnings is expected to be minimal at this time, any necessary disclosures will be made promptly. In recent years, digitalization and DX have become key to solving challenges in manufacturing and other on-site environments. Since March 2026, B-EN-G has been strengthening its on-site operational efficiency support through 'orishia,' a DX solution that collects and utilizes on-site video data for skills transfer and safety education. By incorporating FieldCross's technology, which allows for in-house development of both hardware and software in the industrial smart glass field, B-EN-G will enable more practical on-site data collection and utilization. Moving forward, the two companies aim to fuse their expertise and technologies to develop and provide new, site-specific solutions.
