1. Project Background Under the long-term vision of its medium-term management plan, the group aims to "contribute to a sustainable society through its business." With the recent expansion of renewable energy, expectations for grid-scale battery storage facilities, which help stabilize power supply and demand, have risen.

In light of this business environment, Kumashu Komuten has acquired land and grid connection rights for projects in Kyotango City, Kyoto Prefecture, and Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture.

With these projects, the total number of grid-scale battery storage projects being promoted by the group reaches six.

The government is promoting the adoption of grid-scale energy storage systems through support programs utilizing GX economic transition bonds.
