B&PLUS Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'B&PLUS') will exhibit at 'Maintenance Resilience 2026,' to be held from Wednesday, July 15 to Friday, July 17, 2026, at Tokyo Big Sight.

At the B&PLUS booth, we will showcase various demonstrations contributing to labor-saving and automation in perimeter monitoring, infrastructure maintenance, and construction machinery, including robot and drone solutions utilizing wireless power transfer technology. We will also introduce touchless angle sensors from novotechnik.

Solutions Addressing Labor Shortages and Maintenance Challenges

In manufacturing and social infrastructure sectors, aging equipment and labor shortages are driving increased demand for efficient and automated inspection and patrol operations.

However, in automated operations using robots and drones, challenges such as charging processes and limited operating times remain common.

B&PLUS proposes wireless power transfer technology to automate charging and enable extended operations, further advancing labor-saving and automation in equipment maintenance and infrastructure inspection.

Exhibition Highlights Supporting Equipment Maintenance and Infrastructure Inspection

- Quadruped Robot + Drone Automatic Charging Demo

We will demonstrate a system where a drone station is mounted on a quadruped robot. When the drone lands, wireless charging automatically begins.

By transporting the drone to the launch point, the quadruped robot supports inspection and patrol operations in areas difficult or dangerous for humans to access.

- Rail-Traveling Robot Prototype Set

We will introduce an automation system using robots that travel along rails.

Combining Wi-Fi communication, RFID control, and wireless power transfer, the system supports patrol, inspection, and evaluation applications.

Customization with additional cameras and various sensors is also possible.

Ideal for PoC (Proof of Concept) and planning of equipment monitoring systems.

- Perimeter Monitoring and Measurement Demo Using Camera-Equipped Drones

We will exhibit a demo using camera-equipped drones for perimeter monitoring and measurement.

This improves efficiency in inspecting hard-to-reach areas such as high elevations and confined spaces, while also enhancing safety.

When combined with a wireless charging station, the drone automatically begins charging upon landing, and is ready to fly again after charging completes—demonstrating a seamless operational cycle.

- novotechnik Touchless Angle Sensors

We will exhibit touchless angle sensors from novotechnik.

These sensors feature a non-contact structure with complete separation between the sensor unit and the position marker (magnet), eliminating wear and offering excellent mechanical longevity. They enable stable angle detection even in harsh environments involving water, oil, dust, and vibration, and are widely adopted in construction machinery, agricultural equipment, special vehicles, and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

This time, we will display the RFD-4000 series, installed on DONKEY's autonomous mobile robot 'CP200,' alongside the actual unit. Visitors can view real-world installation examples while learning about product features and use cases.
