The "Rock Salt Cider" is a new style of collaboration drink where Asahi Beverages' "Mitsuya Cider" is poured over a lump of rock salt placed on top of the cup.
This refreshing drink, with its balanced saltiness and sweetness, is perfect for your body in the midsummer heat!
A lump of "Himalayan Rock Salt" is placed on top!
A lump of natural rock salt, mined from the majestic Himalayan mountains, is placed on top of the cup.
Rock salt is said to be formed when ancient seawater, trapped on land during crustal movements millions of years ago, crystallized over a long period. For us at a salt specialty store, it's truly a treasure trove of romance!
It is rich in iron and minerals, and has a salty taste with a pleasant sweetness.
(※Measures have been taken to prevent the saltiness from becoming too strong if the rock salt continues to soak.)
Our original "Blend Salt" is included too!
Furthermore, the secret to its deliciousness is the addition of a hidden ingredient: "Salt that pairs well with Mitsuya Cider," with a recipe supervised by Salt Coordinator Shiho Aoyama.
It's a "Guruguru Shakashaka" original blend salt designed to enhance the sweetness of "Mitsuya Cider" and to be rich in magnesium, which is essential for preventing summer fatigue.
The "Rock Salt" can be taken home as a souvenir!
You can take the rock salt home with you after finishing the drink.
It's also recommended to pour "Mitsuya Cider" over it again at home to enjoy the taste, shave it for cooking, or use it in your bath as bath salts.
Experience something new this summer at "Guruguru Shakashaka" on the 4th floor of Tokyo Solamachi!
