Bankaku Sohonpo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokai City, Aichi Prefecture; President: Yasusuke Bamba) will open a new store at Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin on July 3, 2026.

To commemorate the opening of this new location—the only retail store for the brand in Fukuoka—we are launching a Hakata-exclusive product: 'hakata ebiQ (Hakata EbiKyu)'.

Inside the eye-catching packaging featuring a shrimp character dressed as Cupid lies a delightful surprise: crispy shrimp chips combining natural shrimp and burdock root, enhanced with a light, savory flavor of grilled agodashi (dried baby sardine broth).

Centered on 'Yukari', a shrimp cracker developed through creative refinement of 'ebihanpei'—a delicacy offered to the Tokugawa family during the Edo period—the company specializes in confectionery that makes the most of nature’s bounty.
