Artist Yuta Okuda’s Art Collection at Barneys New York Ginza Flagship, Including Exclusive Collaboration T-shirts with 'Behind the Scenes®'

Barneys Japan will exhibit and sell artworks by contemporary neo-pop artist Yuta Okuda at the Barneys New York Ginza flagship store (UNION SQUARE, 1F) from June 4 to June 15, 2026.

Okuda studied fashion design in both Japan and the UK, and worked as a fashion brand designer. In 2016, he transitioned to becoming an artist and has built his career through energetic participation in solo and group exhibitions.

This art exhibition features 34 works, centered around his representative 'Abstract Bouquet' series. Visitors can enjoy his art, which captivates viewers through the coexistence of intense brushstrokes and colors with delicate pen drawings.

In addition, a limited-edition T-shirt created in collaboration with the platform 'Behind the Scenes®,' which aims to convey past and modern culture to the next generation, will be available for order. The T-shirts feature a unique 'chemical frost' treatment—unlike standard bleaching—to create a natural aging feel on the surface, complemented by a 'crack' treatment on the artwork itself, giving them the texture of an item worn for years while being brand new.
