BASF Launches Reduced Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) Elastollan® TPU Portfolio in Asia Pacific

BASF has announced the launch of its Reduced Product Carbon Footprint (ReducedPCF) Elastollan® thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) portfolio in the Asia Pacific region. These new grades achieve a 10-30% reduction in PCF compared to standard versions by utilizing low-emission energy, optimized resources, and low-carbon fossil feedstocks, while maintaining equivalent mechanical properties. Produced at BASF's Shanghai site to support the 'local-for-local' strategy, the portfolio targets the footwear, sports, and cable industries, reinforcing BASF's commitment to enabling customer green transformation through transparent data and innovation.
