Butter Launches 'Ibaraking and Green Tea Cream Souffle Pancakes' Featuring the 'King of Melons'

Pancake cafe 'Butter,' operated by Baycrew's Group (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Masayoshi Furumine), will participate in the 'Hokota Melon Fair' at Yokohama Bay Quarter, starting Monday, June 1st. They will offer a limited-time menu featuring 'Ibaraking' green-fleshed melons from Hokota City, Ibaraki Prefecture, including 'Ibaraking and Green Tea Cream Souffle Pancakes' and the original blend tea 'Lemon-scented Green Tea.'

'Ibaraking,' originating from Ibaraki Prefecture, a famous melon-producing region, is a green-fleshed melon characterized by its refreshing sweetness and smooth texture.

For the 'Ibaraking and Green Tea Cream Souffle Pancakes,' we have combined these melons with fragrant green tea cream to highlight their juiciness and refined sweetness. The moist, chilled, and fluffy souffle pancakes are topped with homemade ice cream cake made with ample melon juice and fresh Ibaraking melon. It is a seasonal dish where you can enjoy the rich flavor of melon that fills your mouth and the lingering aroma of green tea.

'Lemon-scented Green Tea,' an original blend of Murakami green tea.

Alongside the pancakes, we have also prepared an original blend tea, 'Lemon-scented Green Tea,' which combines Murakami green tea from Niigata Prefecture with the scent of lemon.
