Belluna Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ōmiya City, Saitama Prefecture; President and CEO: Kiyoshi Yasuno) hosted its 'Children's Observation Day' on Friday, July 24 at its Ōmiya headquarters, and on Friday, August 21 at the Chiba Order Reception Center. The event was designed for children of group employees.

The purpose of this event was to help children understand their parents' work and learn the importance of employment; to spark interest in society through diverse experiences and encourage children—future contributors—to think about their dreams; and to deepen understanding of workplace environments and working roles by observing them firsthand.

Participants experienced the nature of work and office atmosphere through activities such as introductions to the company's products and services, business card exchange practice, and role-playing telephone customer service scenarios. The company's official mascot, 'Beru-nya,' also made an appearance, and a group photo was taken at the end of the event.

Belluna will continue to actively promote child-rearing support and create a more employee-friendly workplace to help staff balance work and family life.

Selected Children's Feedback

– I was happy to greet many people. I wanted to stay at the office all day.

– Exchanging business cards was nerve-wracking but really fun. I learned about many different people.

– I was nervous, but I’d like to do it again. I was happy to understand what my mom does.

– I was anxious at first, but making phone calls was actually fun. I realized my mom is amazing.

– The workplace was much larger and more spacious than I expected. I was happy to see where my parents work.

– I was happy to do the same things my mom does at Belluna. I thought speaking would be easy, but I got nervous. I realized my mom’s job is impressive and challenging.

Selected Parent (Employee) Feedback

– My child gained a clearer image of the workplace and seemed to view it as a fun environment.

– After the tour, my child became very interested in Belluna Group and my job, asking questions about the products we handle. They also watched Belluna’s YouTube ads very seriously, which made me happy they’re learning about our company.

– When they actually wore a headset and role-played, they said, 'I want to do it again.' Being able to show them my work in person, rather than just describing it, was meaningful for me as a parent.

– Through facility tours and interactions, my child’s understanding of the company deepened. Our family now casually mentions employee names at home, showing how familiar and close the company has become.
