NicoSumma | Used Smartphone Sales and Purchase Ranking for June 2026

NicoSumma Staff Comment

In the sales number ranking for June 2026, while transaction volumes generally increased, the iPhone SE (3rd generation) (64GB) ranked first for the 13th consecutive month.

There were no changes in ranking from 1st to 6th place, but the iPhone 14 (128GB) further increased its transaction volume and maintained its second position.

The iPhone 15 (128GB) gained momentum in transaction volume from the previous month, rising to 8th place.

Following Apple's price revision on June 25th, although iPhone prices have remained unchanged at present, the used smartphone market has already begun to show signs of impact.

On "NicoSumma" as well, orders believed to be driven by preemptive demand increased for some products such as iPads immediately after the price revision.

Not only did the number of units sold increase, but the average purchase price also rose, suggesting a strengthening trend of purchasing used smartphones of newer models that are in good condition and can be used for a long time, before prices increase.

If Apple revises iPhone prices in the future, it is expected that sales prices in the used smartphone market will also rise in the short term, returning to pre-revision sales prices over two to four months.

In the purchase number ranking, the iPhone SE (2nd generation) (64GB) ranked first for the 10th consecutive month.

Even when considering the total by model (sum of all storage capacities), the iPhone SE (2nd generation) maintained its first place for the 12th consecutive month.

The trend in the top ranks remains unchanged, with the iPhone SE series, iPhone 13, and iPhone 12 being popular.
