Benelic Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Takeshi Yokoyama) will begin sequentially releasing a new capsule toy product, 'Keronen The Capsule Toy 5' (5 types / 500 yen per play, tax included), from late June 2026 at capsule toy vending machine corners nationwide.

About 'Keronen The Capsule Toy 5' (5 types)

The Keronen capsule toy series, a collaborative creation by illustrator/modeler Hiroyuki Yokoyama—known for 'Maschinen Krieger'—and creator Noriya Takeyama—famous for soft vinyl figures like 'Koi Jarasu'—features an amphibious rescue robot machine called 'Keronen.' The 5th installment, 'Keronen The Capsule Toy 5,' debuts with a colored transparent body design.

Under full supervision by both creators, the new release retains beloved features such as movable arms and waist, and the detachable pilot 'O.T.M (Otama).' This 5th edition introduces colored clear-body variants in black, blue, red-to-black gradient, green, and pink, each offering a fresh visual expression of Keronen's design. Special attention is also given to the Otama pilots, which feature color schemes that complement each Keronen figure.

Enjoy displaying the cool, translucent 'Keronen The Capsule Toy 5' on your desk, at your entrance, or anywhere in your space.

About the Creators of Keronen

Hiroyuki Yokoyama

A Japanese illustrator and modeler renowned for designing mecha for science fiction novel covers, commercials, games, and toys. His representative work, 'Maschinen Krieger' (S.F.3.D.), first released in 1982, continues to enjoy strong popularity both in Japan and internationally. With a unique aesthetic emphasizing curved mechanical designs and illustrations, Yokoyama has expanded his influence to include mechanical design for overseas films.

Noriya Takeyama

Founder of 'Mehrzens,' a company specializing in planning, design, and production of character goods. After launching hit products as a planner for girls' toys, he became independent and expanded his collaborations with movie characters overseas. Inspired by childhood memories of pond creatures like frogs, goldfish, carp, and turtles, his artistic style is reflected in popular characters such as 'Koi Jarasu,' 'Keronga,' 'Poolys,' and 'Dokukkino.' He co-created the new character 'Keronen' with illustrator/modeler Hiroyuki Yokoyama. Since 2005, he has served as a lecturer at the Character Design Department of Amusement Media Gakuen College, nurturing numerous professionals and contributing significantly to the industry.
