(July 7, 2026, Crewe) Bentley Motors has announced the "1919 Collection," an apparel collection created in honor of the enthusiasts who have supported Bentley since its founding.

The collection was designed by Mai Iizawa, a designer and Bentley's External Creative Director, and will be sold exclusively at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Monterey Car Week. It is a special commemorative collection with the message "I was there," capturing the memory of attending the events.

The collection's signature chore jacket is made from durable cotton oxford fabric. It is a garment that gains character with wear, deepening its charm alongside its owner. This aging process reflects Bentley's philosophy of car manufacturing, which cultivates value over time since its founding in 1919.

Inspiration

Mai Iizawa, Bentley's External Creative Director, deeply understands the special bond that connects motorsport enthusiasts through her own experiences. She applied this sensibility to create the collection as a designer and brand advisor.

Her father, Satoshi Iizawa, was one of the first Japanese drivers to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and also participated in the European Formula Two Championship with Frank Williams' team. Her grandfather was an artist, and Mai Iizawa grew up surrounded by the worlds of motorsport and art.

1919 Collection Chore Jacket

The "1919 Collection" signature chore jacket is made from durable cotton oxford fabric. It gains character with wear, aging alongside its owner to become a unique piece.

It features the traditional Bentley Green color and patch pockets on the exterior. Furthermore, the Bentley wing emblem and the words "Bentley Motors Since 1919" are embroidered with heritage white thread, crafted with the quality of an atelier. A detachable Velcro label features the "FULL SEND" motif, an homage to the "FULL SEND" video that garnered global attention, featuring stunt driver Travis Pastrana and a rear-wheel-drive supercar.

Every detail, from the chain-stitch embroidery to the copper buttons, embodies Bentley's unique craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Other Items

In addition to the chore jacket, the "1919 Collection" includes a crewneck sweatshirt made from 12-ounce heavyweight reverse weave fabric, short-sleeved polo shirts, and American-style T-shirts.

Additionally, a classic 6-panel cotton cap, a tote bag made of thick cotton canvas, and a key ring with an embroidered tab complete the collection.

Sales of the 1919 Collection

The "1919 Collection" will be available exclusively during the 2026 season at the Bentley stands at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Monterey Car Week in California, USA.

Bentley will continue to release new limited collections each season, offering them as highly rare collector's items.

Comment from Mai Iizawa

Bentley is a brand that has pioneered a culture of community among its owners and enthusiasts. Looking back to the era of the early Bentley Boys and Bentley Girls, the owners themselves were part of the brand. It wasn't just about winning races, but also about how those victories were celebrated and shared. I wanted to express that spirit in the "1919 Collection" and remain true to the stories woven by true Bentley enthusiasts.
