BERTRAND Inc., provider of the cloud-based shipping label creation app and API solution 'Ship&co,' which streamlines e-commerce shipping operations, has announced the start of an API integration with Orange Connex Japan K.K., the provider of eBay's official cross-border shipping management program, 'eBay SpeedPAK.'

This integration allows eBay sellers to directly manage eBay SpeedPAK shipping label generation through the Ship&co system, enabling unified management alongside other shipping carriers.

Background of the Partnership

Established in 2018 through a strategic partnership with eBay, Orange Connex is a supply chain technology platform designed for global e-commerce. eBay SpeedPAK is its flagship service, offering express shipping (to over 200 countries and regions) via FedEx and DHL, as well as economy shipping (to the U.S., U.K., Germany, and Australia).

Ship&co has previously supported unified shipping label generation and automated logistics by integrating with major carriers such as FedEx, DHL, UPS, Japan Post, Yamato Transport, and Sagawa Express. This partnership with Orange Connex adds even more competitive shipping options for sellers conducting overseas sales via eBay.

Benefits of the Integration

1. Easy Issuance of eBay SpeedPAK Shipping Labels Users can seamlessly generate shipping labels for SpeedPAK FedEx, SpeedPAK DHL, and SpeedPAK Economy through the Ship&co app.

2. Automatic Generation of Customs Invoices The system automatically generates customs invoices, including HS codes, country of origin, and pricing information, reducing complex manual procedures.

3. Automatic Tracking Number Syncing with eBay Supports automatic reflection of tracking numbers and shipment status updates to the eBay Seller Hub, reducing manual workload.

4. Unified Management with Other Carriers Users can utilize Orange Connex's SpeedPAK within the same interface as existing carriers like FedEx, DHL, and international mail. There is no need to switch systems between different carriers, enabling greater efficiency across all shipping operations.

While this integration enables users to create SpeedPAK shipping labels via the Ship&co interface, usage requires prior registration for an Orange Connex account and linking the eBay account via the Seller Portal.

Comment from Thomas Bertrand, CEO of Ship&co:

'Since Ship&co launched about 10 years ago, eBay sellers have been a crucial user base for us. In an era where shipping and customs costs are rising and international shipping complexity is increasing, we believe it is our mission to provide more competitive and user-friendly options. This partnership with Orange Connex SpeedPAK is a significant step toward that goal. We hope all sellers selling on eBay will make the most of it.'
