Sake Genkabar (operated by Billion Foods) has launched 10 summer-limited menu items featuring eel and seasonal vegetables, plus donabe rice dishes, promoted to pair well with sake and available across participating stores.

Headlining summer menu items include the “Luxurious Unatama” and “Grilled Zucchini,” and we even offer a “Garlic Tomato with Salt Kelp” made using junmai sake!

We have prepared a selection of seasonal specialties using abundant fresh eel and summer vegetables, available only for this season.

Enjoy the plump, savory-grilled “Gokai Unatama,” the juicy texture of “Mizunasu Sashimi,” and the umami-enhanced “Salt-Kelp Garlic Tomato” that leverages the flavor of junmai sake — all part of our summer-limited lineup curated to pair with sake.

For a satisfying finish to your meal, we also offer donabe rice dishes such as “Eel Hitsumabushi Donabe,” which lets you fully enjoy the flavor of eel, the aromatic “Aosa Seaweed and Mentaiko Butter Donabe Rice,” and the slowly simmered beef tendon “Green-Onion Loaded Beef Tendon Donabe Rice.”

Additionally, we’ve included shareable dishes that go well with alcohol: “Grilled Zucchini with Shio-Koji Butter,” “Whole Grilled Long Eggplant with Lots of Bonito Flakes,” “Melting Kakuni (braised pork) with Flavorful Simmered Daikon,” and the indulgent “Crab Miso and Cream Cheese Spring Rolls.”
