Blackbox Inc. (Shinjuku, Tokyo; CEO: Ryuu Sakamoto) has announced a new recruitment drive for its flagship 2.5D female idol VTuber production agency, Lovvebox. The agency's lead group, Quinte, will start its second-generation member audition on Monday, May 25, 2026, marking the beginning of the group's 'Chapter 2.'
Derived from 'Quintet Queen,' Quinte debuted on February 2, 2025, and has since built a unique presence by combining virtual storytelling with real-world live performances. Currently operating as a trio, the group seeks to expand back to a five-member ensemble to enhance its creative and performance capabilities.
Applicants must be females aged 18 or older. No prior professional experience in acting or streaming is required. The agency is looking for individuals with the passion to excel both in the virtual space and on a physical stage. The selection process consists of three stages: document and video screening, online interviews, and a final offline evaluation in Tokyo. Successful candidates will benefit from a comprehensive support system, including the provision of high-end streaming equipment and full coverage of vocal and dance training expenses.
Applications are open until June 15, 2026, at 23:59 JST. This audition represents a significant opportunity for aspiring talent to shape the future of the evolving 2.5D entertainment landscape.
