Special Performance "JAZZ for CHILDREN" for Kids to Enjoy. Held at Blue Note Tokyo / Cotton Club / Blue Note Place during Summer Vacation!

Blue Note Japan Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Hiroaki Ito) will hold a special performance for children, "JAZZ for CHILDREN," during the summer vacation period from late July to early August at its three directly managed live restaurants: Blue Note Tokyo, Cotton Club, and Blue Note Place.

At Blue Note Tokyo in Minami-Aoyama, Citrus Sun, a jazz-funk project led by Bluey, leader of the popular acid jazz group "Incognito," will perform. A dance space for children will be set up, and a photo session with the artists will be held after the show. At Cotton Club in Marunouchi, the popular group "Minyo Crusaders," which fuses Japanese folk songs with world rhythms, will be joined by guest singer Chise Kudo for a special stage. Workshops and meet-and-greets with children are also planned. At Blue Note Place in Ebisu, trombonist Shigeru Ikemoto, active at the forefront of the jazz scene, will present a live performance gently unraveling the connection between contemporary music and jazz. Gifts for children and a meet-and-greet are also planned.

Blue Note Japan regularly plans and holds programs that are easy for children to participate in, not just on Children's Day. We aim to promote and develop music culture by actively creating opportunities and spaces for children to experience music with top musicians from Japan and around the world.

Jazz clubs and live restaurants are often perceived as adult spaces and social venues, but "JAZZ for CHILDREN" was started with the desire to let children and teenagers enjoy jazz live performances by top artists from Japan and abroad. This summer vacation, "JAZZ for CHILDREN" will be held at three venues: Blue Note Tokyo, Cotton Club, and Blue Note Place, offering a special time to experience music through the stages of top artists from Japan and abroad.
