Notice of Certification as a Specific Wholesale Supplier (Aggregator)

Overview We are pleased to announce that Blue Sky Energy Inc. has submitted a notification as a Specific Wholesale Supplier (Aggregator) *2, as stipulated in the Specific Wholesale Supply Business System *1, to the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry based on the Electricity Business Act, and was certified as of April 1, 2026. Our company plans to develop 100 grid-scale battery plants nationwide by 2029, and on March 23 this year, we commenced commercial operation of our first battery plant in Makinohara City, Shizuoka Prefecture. To efficiently and stably operate a cluster of 100 battery plants, an aggregation function responsible for executing transactions, adjusting supply and demand, and operating the grid in the power market is essential. The recent acquisition of the aggregator license was strategically promoted to strengthen the business foundation supporting this large-scale development plan.

About Our "Multi-Aggregator Strategy" Our company develops and operates 100 large-scale battery storage facilities nationwide. To maximize profits in power trading, three types of partners are indispensable: "aggregators," "battery systems," and "control systems." Instead of outsourcing all of these to a single company, our policy is to select and combine the best companies for each location and condition. Furthermore, by not only relying on external parties but also possessing an in-house decision-making function for power trading, we achieve both flexibility and risk diversification. Through this "cherry-picking" strategy, we aim for maximum profitability and stable operation at each base.
