Dangan Bunko June New Releases! Steampunk Series 'Meiji Garakuta Scrap March' Vol. 1 & Popular 'Meikyu Kuso Tawake' Vol. 2 Simultaneous Print Release!

Dangan Bunko, the light novel label of BookBase, which began distributing print books to bookstores nationwide in March 2026, will release four new titles on June 25th. 'Meiji Garakuta Scrap March 1: Steam City Asakusa Turmoil Chapter,' being released this time, is the winner of Dangan Bunko's first plot contest and the label's first full-scale steampunk work. It is a new series with a profound worldview and thrilling combat descriptions, and a comic adaptation project is underway. Simultaneously released 'Meikyu Kuso Tawake 2' is the latest volume of a super popular title with nearly 60 million cumulative PVs on the novel posting site 'Kakuyomu.' The first volume released in April was a huge hit, with a reprint decided shortly after release, making the series a flagship title for the label. Two new digital-only titles will also be released on the same day. A total of four titles, both print and digital, will be launched on June 25th.
