Pregnancy Registration Rate via 'Shiawamasu☆Child-rearing Support Navi' (Boshimo) Reaches 96.8% in Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture

Boshimo Inc. provides its 'Kosodate DX®' digital support service for municipal childcare projects to Hofu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Since August 2024, the company has been utilizing the app for pregnancy registration through its 'Companion Consultation Support Service,' aiming to reduce the burden on both parents and municipal staff. A survey revealed that the application rate for pregnancy registration via the 'Shiawamasu☆Child-rearing Support Navi' (Boshimo) reached 96.8% between April and December 2025. Hofu City introduced the Boshimo app in April 2022. Since then, it has expanded services to include online appointment booking for interviews and digital registration for maternal and child health handbooks. This high adoption rate is attributed to the reduced burden on pregnant women regarding travel and paperwork. Municipal staff also benefit from being able to review information prior to interviews, leading to higher quality consultations and improved workflow efficiency. Boshimo continues to partner with Hofu City to enhance convenience for families and support community development.
