This is the first initiative of its kind in the drugstore industry to partner with a luggage storage service. By utilizing Sugi Pharmacy stores, which are easily accessible for travelers on a daily basis, we will provide an environment where people can enjoy hands-free sightseeing in more familiar locations than ever before.

Background and Objectives of the Partnership

With the increase in inbound foreign tourists, issues such as a shortage of coin lockers and congestion caused by travelers carrying large suitcases have become serious in tourist areas and around major stations nationwide. For travelers, luggage management is directly linked to their freedom of movement, and the need for easily accessible places to store luggage is growing.

Sugi Pharmacy operates over 2,000 stores nationwide in locations close to daily life, with many stores situated in tourist spots, entertainment districts, and near stations. By utilizing Sugi Pharmacy stores, conveniently located for travelers to visit during their sightseeing, as Bounce luggage storage points, we will eliminate the hassle of searching for coin lockers and provide a more comfortable travel experience.

First Initiative in the Drugstore Industry

This partnership between Sugi Pharmacy and Bounce is the first collaboration with a luggage storage service in the drugstore industry. The combination of drugstores, which are frequently visited by travelers for purchasing daily necessities and pharmaceuticals, and a luggage storage service is drawing attention as a new initiative that greatly enhances traveler convenience.
