Investment in Beer and Tech, operator of online flower and green store "HitoHana"

BRICKS FUND TOKYO (jointly operated by Prime Partners Inc.), Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd.'s corporate venture capital aiming to co-create growth industries, has made an additional investment in Beer and Tech Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture; Representative Director: Norihisa Morita), an existing investee that operates the online flower and green store "HitoHana (ひとはな)".

Beer and Tech brings IT system development and marketing expertise to the floriculture industry. Furthermore, by directly addressing the operational aspects of the floriculture industry, they have established an integrated system encompassing in-house greenhouse facilities, product planning, sales, and shipping. This has positioned them as a leading company with one of the largest scales in the flower and green e-commerce sector in Japan.

Through this fund, we have promoted business co-creation with the Mitsubishi Estate Group in the corporate space greening business, including sales collaboration for the congratulatory flower bulk purchase service "HitoHana Collect" and joint projects for office greening.

Based on the confirmation of growing needs and business synergies in the corporate space greening business through these initiatives, we have decided to make this additional investment.

Through this investment, the fund will become the largest shareholder in the company. We will strongly promote collaboration and the launch of joint ventures utilizing the Mitsubishi Estate Group's business assets, such as its value chain and customer touchpoints, to further contribute to the company's growth.
