Background of Service Launch

This mobility service aims not only to provide transportation but also to "revitalize local economies with mobility as a starting point." We believe that "local businesses, including members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who form the foundation of the local economy, are partners in creating the charm of the town."

Therefore, we have created a system where "support from the community" is visualized through local sponsorship, and wrapped vehicles carrying that sentiment run through the town. By connecting local businesses, residents, and visitors through mobility, we aim to foster new vibrancy and civic pride throughout the community.

Future Development

This mobility service will evolve with the support of the local community and businesses. We are steadily moving towards establishing new "regional infrastructure" that supports and promotes the charm of the town from the ground up.

"TOCKLE" Commitment to Safety 1: Rural Areas, Not Urban Centers

Buses and trains are facing financial difficulties, service reductions, and driver shortages, putting the "transportation lifeline" in rural areas in crisis. "TOCKLE" aims to solve these "transportation deserts" in rural areas. Furthermore, rural areas have less traffic and wider roads compared to urban areas, making them easier and safer to operate in. For these two reasons – solving regional issues and ensuring safety – "TOCKLE" primarily focuses on deployment in rural areas.

2: Geofencing Prevents Entry into Hazardous Areas

"TOCKLE" is equipped with a safety system called "geofencing" that detects the operating area via GPS and stops the vehicle if it enters a specific zone. The "no-entry zones" set by geofencing can be flexibly configured by local governments according to the specific conditions of their region.

3: Complete Prohibition of Nighttime Operation

In the electric mobility industry, it is common knowledge that "nighttime is prime time" for business, as it caters to people who miss the last train and need to travel long distances home. However, the reality of the industry is that a considerable number of people ride after consuming alcohol during these late hours. Safety is, of course, more important than profit. Therefore, "TOCKLE" does not operate at all during nighttime hours in any region.

With a vision to "create a future public transportation that is appreciated by people and towns," we develop next-generation mobility sharing and rental services, as well as regional transportation solutions. Prioritizing "safety," we work closely with local governments to address "transportation deserts" in rural areas.

President Miyauchi began his professional career as a truck driver. During his nearly 10 years as a truck driver, he keenly felt the sincere commitment to safety that transportation-related businesses have consistently demonstrated through morning assemblies and training. Leveraging this experience, safety is considered the utmost priority in the development of the "TOCKLE" business.
