The "Strongest Man" captivating fans: Jason Statham

BS Nippon will broadcast three films that established Statham's popularity as a Hollywood star for three consecutive weeks.
- May 31 (Sun) 6:45 PM - "Killer Elite" (2011) Featuring Jason Statham, Clive Owen, and Robert De Niro. This non-stop action thriller follows Danny, a retired elite assassin, who is forced to undertake an assassination mission targeting SAS members to rescue his captured partner.
- June 7 (Sun) 8:54 PM - "The Mechanic" (2010) A remake of the 1972 classic, this film solidified the "silent, stoic, invincible Statham" persona. It portrays Arthur Bishop, a perfect assassin who makes murders look like accidents, as he mentor's his late friend's son.
- June 14 (Sun) 8:54 PM - "Mechanic: Resurrection" (2016) A sequel starring Tommy Lee Jones, Jessica Alba, and Michelle Yeoh. Bishop, having retired from the business, is forced back by an old foe to assassinate three world-controlling arms dealers, leading him to devise a counter-plan.
