Shuji Terayama 90th Birthday Commemoration: Shuji Terayama and Japanese Avant-Garde Posters October 9 (Fri) to October 18 (Sun)

Shuji Terayama, who transcended the boundaries of poetry, theater, and film, continuously challenged his era with words and avant-garde expression. Even today, his fanbase continues to grow, including among younger generations, through revivals of his plays and publications. This exhibition will display and sell rare works, including performance posters designed by Yukio Taniyama and Tadanori Yokoo for the "Theater Laboratory ◎ Tenjo Sajiki," as well as other contemporary posters and flyers.

In her 2022 solo exhibition, Yu Seto vividly captured the "moment of predation" in the food chain, powerfully conveying the tension of wild animals and the critical point of life. In this exhibition, "CIRCULATION 2," she expands her perspective to the time surrounding that instant, expressing the cyclical structure of life woven from death and rebirth. We invite you to experience the vitality of life from a new perspective at the venue.

29th Mitsuhiko Sasao Exhibition: Landscapes with Flowers November 12 (Thu) to November 29 (Sun)

Mitsuhiko Sasao, known as the "Painter of Red," creates vibrant, modern works filled with warmth. As he approaches his 30th anniversary, he continues to actively exhibit, including a large 80-number painting displayed at the "Chanson no Kai" collaboration event with hoshihoshi last year. Come and enjoy his works brimming with the charm of Paris, a city he loves and that inspires him.

Satoshi Yabuuchi Solo Exhibition (Provisional Title) December 4 (Fri) to December 20 (Sun)

"White Horse Child" Bronze

A major gathering of works by Satoshi Yabuuchi, one of Japan’s most renowned sculptors, in Shibuya! Adorable "child" figures inspired by Japan’s traditional views of nature. Their lively expressions and humorous movements are sure to bring a smile. This exhibition will widely display and sell rare wooden carvings alongside popular bronze works.

Akiko Sumiyoshi Solo Exhibition December 26 (Sat) to January 11, 2027 (Mon, Holiday)

Akiko Sumiyoshi portrays lovable animals hidden within rich forests through her unique artistic vision. Their soft expressions and delicate gestures, depicted with meticulous detail, create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere blending tension and relaxation. What is depicted is not precise reproduction, but the "real" each artist perceives. This exhibition focuses on the worldview and gaze embedded in the works, introducing painting expressions that transcend realism and speak directly to the viewer’s inner self.
