Burger King® Opens 8 New Locations Nationwide

BK Japan Corp. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Kazuhiro Nomura) announced the grand opening of 8 new Burger King® locations between May and June 2026. Stores will open in Kanagawa, Fukuoka, Chiba, Osaka, Niigata, and Ibaraki prefectures. With these additions, the total number of Burger King® stores in Japan is expected to reach 362 by June 25, 2026.

Burger King® is aggressively expanding its footprint across the country to share the taste of its signature flame-grilled 100% beef patties with more customers. The company maintains an ambitious expansion strategy for 2026, aiming to reach 600 stores nationwide by the end of 2028, including new locations in previously untapped areas.

### Store Design and Signature Products

The new locations feature Burger King®'s brand color palette of red, orange, brown, green, and yellow, designed to evoke fresh ingredients such as flame-grilled patties, sesame buns, and crisp vegetables. The interiors utilize iconic fonts and unique hand-drawn illustrations to create a space filled with energy and humor.

Our flagship product, the Whopper® Cheese, is approximately 1.4 times larger than a standard burger and features a flame-grilled 100% beef patty paired with cheddar cheese, crisp lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on a toasted sesame bun. It is priced at 740 yen à la carte and 1,040 yen for a set. We also offer a range of Kids' Sets (Cheese Burger, Hamburger, and Chicken Nugget) to ensure a great dining experience for customers of all ages.
