BMC Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Takatsuki City, Osaka Prefecture; CEO: Eiji Takasu) offers paid internships as part of its career education initiatives for students.

We are now releasing interview videos from interns (high school and university students) who successfully completed the program. Alongside this, we are launching recruitment for the next generation of interns who wish to shape their own futures.

This program serves as a practical platform for students to explore entrepreneurship and career options at an early age. We share the authentic voices of university student Isoe and high school student Takashima, who completed a six-month internship and reflect on how they envisioned their careers and achieved personal growth.

Interns Share 'Overwhelming Growth and Insights Gained at BMC'

[High School Student – Takashima]: 'From an unstable second-year high school student to leveling up as an adult. My dream of becoming a musician transformed from a 'dream story' into a 'solid plan.'

Experiencing this internship during my second year of high school—a period of uncertainty between childhood and adulthood—was incredibly impactful for me.

Previously, my goal of 'becoming a band musician' felt like a fantasy. However, at BMC, by thoroughly concretizing (and visualizing) the 'why' behind my goal and the steps required to achieve it, I gained a strong sense of a clear roadmap toward success.

Initially, I had a fearful impression of adults, but thanks to the safe and supportive environment where everyone kindly listened to me, I learned how to communicate openly from the heart. Unlike school group work based on friendship, I learned the essence of building a strong team—'team building'—which will become a valuable asset in my future school life and beyond.

[University Student – Isoe]: 'Preserving Tohoku’s Nature for the Next Generation: Establishing a Clear Post-Graduation Vision and a Leadership Model That Catches Others’ 'Weak Signals'

Through my activities at BMC, I was able to clearly define a concrete action plan for life after graduation.

In the future, I aim to preserve the rich natural environment of the Tohoku region for future generations. Starting with nonprofit activities such as an NPO, I plan to build a 'Green Network' connecting local communities and businesses, and expand these efforts nationwide. I have already begun activities as a member of Mezamoriiiide, a nonprofit organization.

During the internship, I faced many challenges, including the courage to disclose my weaknesses, the difficulty of time management, and the ability to engage fellow students. Most impressively, the BMC team warmly welcomed me as a newcomer, actively fostering psychological safety.

Now, the kind of leader I aspire to be is not just someone who leads from the front, but someone who carefully picks up on difficult-to-express thoughts and 'weak signals' from team members walking alongside me.

Message from CEO Eiji Takasu

'Hearing their stories of growth and visions for the future moved me deeply and reaffirmed the significance of this internship program.

That high school student Takashima was able to transform his vague dream into a concrete roadmap and feel that he had 'leveled up' into adulthood through self-exploration. That university student Isoe expressed a strong vision to protect Tohoku’s nature and aspired to become a leader who can catch the 'weak signals' within a team.

There is no greater weapon than youth. BMC will continue to provide a serious, hands-on environment where young people can hold bright hopes for society and achieve success in the shortest possible way. We look forward to meeting new members who wish to expand their potential and become leaders who create the future!
