CAICA Financial Holdings Inc. announced that the e-book publishing project for 'THE Kissaten' (The Coffee Shop) by manga artist and former comedian Toshikazu Sakamoto, the 10th installment of the 'NFT Manga Project' promoted in collaboration with Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha, Ltd. and Jitsugyo no Nihon Digital, Ltd., has achieved its target amount of 360,000 yen on the crowdfunding platform CAMPFIRE.
As of 2:00 PM on June 4, 2026, the project has garnered 42 supporters and a total support amount of 378,000 yen (105% of the goal). The campaign began on June 2, 2026, and with the target reached, the e-book publication by the 129-year-old publisher Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha has been officially confirmed. The e-book is scheduled to be distributed on approximately 200 e-book sales sites nationwide.
The initial target of 360,000 yen was set to cover the minimum production costs for the e-book. The crowdfunding campaign on CAMPFIRE will remain open until July 31, 2026. Funds collected beyond the target will be used for project operations and promotions, and a physical print publication will be considered in consultation with the publisher if support continues to grow. Additionally, support via NFT cards (12,000 yen per unit) that come with royalty returns based on e-book sales will be accepted on the INO Fine special site until September 13, 2026.
The company stated that the reason for utilizing CAMPFIRE is to introduce the project to a broader audience unfamiliar with Web3 and NFTs. The strategy aims for mutual complementation, where increased awareness and discussion on CAMPFIRE directly lead to improved recognition and sales of NFTs on their vetted launchpad, INO Fine.
The 'NFT Manga Project' represents a new form of publishing where readers' direct support empowers creators to release their work. Achieving the funding target ensures publication, and a portion of the royalties generated by the work is distributed back to the NFT holders.
