The 53g 'Potato Chips Hokkaido Butter Soy Sauce Flavor' will also be available outside convenience stores in the Tohoku and Chubu regions (Niigata and Nagano Prefectures).

*The butter used in the butter powder for this product is 100% manufactured in Hokkaido.

The 'Calbee Potato Chips' series is a long-selling brand celebrating its 50th anniversary in September 2025. 'Hokkaido Butter Soy Sauce Flavor' was first launched in 1993 and has been a beloved staple representing 'a taste of Hokkaido' for over 30 years.

The 'Kataage Potato' series uses thicker potato slices, carefully fried to deliver a crunchy texture and a rich potato flavor that deepens with every bite. Launched in 1993, the series includes classic flavors as well as various region-exclusive varieties. 'Hokkaido Butter Soy Sauce Flavor' was first introduced in 2013 and sold year-round until 2017. After being discontinued, numerous requests for its return led to its revival as a year-round product in 2023.
