Minato Ward x Jinsekikogen Town Co-creation DAO Kickoff 2026 to be Held

The Minato City Industry Promotion Center (Location: Shiba, Minato Ward, Tokyo) is promoting the "Minato Ward x Jinsekikogen Town Co-creation DAO" project in collaboration with Jinsekikogen Town, Hiroshima Prefecture, and spoon Inc., among others. This project aims to foster business creation originating from regional challenges through the collaboration of urban talent and local businesses.

To mark the project's kickoff, "Minato Ward x Jinsekikogen Town Co-creation DAO Kickoff 2026" will be held on July 28, 2026 (Tue) at the Minato City Industry Promotion Center.

Bringing Urban Skills to the Regional Future

The "Minato Ward x Jinsekikogen Town Co-creation DAO" is an initiative where professionals such as corporate personnel, freelancers, students, and entrepreneurs gathered in Tokyo's Minato Ward form units with local business operators and human resources who support life and industry in Jinsekikogen Town. These units will work together to create new businesses starting from regional challenges.

This is not merely about dispatching personnel or soliciting ideas. It involves combining expertise in planning, business development, AI/IT, design, public relations, video production, and marketing with on-site knowledge, resources, culture, industries, and connections within the region. Through repeated dialogue, on-site fieldwork, idea generation, and verification, the aim is to create businesses, products, and services rooted in the region.

Visualizing Activities and Contributions for Future Co-creation and Business Opportunities

This project introduces an EBPM (Evidence-based Policy Making) foundation to record and visualize participants' areas of interest, skills, dialogue, proposals, verification, and implementation processes as co-creation achievements. Instead of just a record of event participation, it accumulates who was involved in which regional theme, with what expertise and actions, as human capital. This will then lead to opportunities for forming new co-creation units, participating in projects, and commercializing businesses.

Activity achievements will also be linked to contribution proof via Soulbound Tokens (SBT). Starting sequentially from the end of August 2026, a quest participation and activity management system utilizing a LINE mini-app will be launched, connecting participants' actions, contributions, and learning to the building of continuous relationships with the region.

How the Co-creation DAO Will Proceed

The process will move sequentially from sharing regional challenges, recruiting co-creation members, forming units, conducting on-site fieldwork and verification, to business development and regional implementation. Through EBPM, visualization of human capital, and SBT linkage, the processes of participation, dialogue, proposal, and implementation will be recorded and linked to future co-creation.

About the Kickoff Event

On the day of the event, the overall project scope, co-creation themes from Jinsekikogen Town, the post-participation flow, and the unit formation mechanism will be introduced. Individuals interested in regional issues, regional revitalization, AI/IT, DX, design, public relations, video production, marketing, business development, DAOs, Web3, etc., are welcome to participate regardless of experience.
