Canon Marketing Japan Co., Ltd. (President: Masachika Adachi, hereinafter 'Canon MJ') and Opro Inc. (President: Kazunori Satomi, hereinafter 'Opro') will begin offering integration functionality between Canon MJ's digital document service 'DigitalWork Accelerator' and Opro's cloud-based electronic form service 'Form DX' starting mid-July 2026. This integration will streamline document creation, storage, and exchange, supporting improved efficiency and reliability in intercompany business operations.

Overview of 'Form DX' × 'DigitalWork Accelerator' Integration

In recent years, while digitalization of business operations has progressed, the importance of managing documents and forms with accuracy, tamper prevention, and rapid accessibility has increased. In particular, proper management of quality data and transaction records supports corporate accountability. Alongside transaction-related documents such as invoices and delivery notes, reliability assurance for diverse business documents—such as quality assurance certificates in manufacturing—is increasingly required. However, in many cases, document creation, storage, sharing, search, and transfer are managed separately, leading to fragmented operations, human errors, and burdens during audits. Additionally, electronic transaction data storage requires assurance of authenticity and searchability, making it challenging to establish systems that balance legal compliance with operational efficiency.

To address these challenges, Canon MJ and Opro are launching integration functionality between Canon MJ’s 'DigitalWork Accelerator' and Opro’s 'Form DX'. Through this integration, forms created in 'Form DX' will be automatically linked to 'DigitalWork Accelerator', enabling centralized management of storage, sharing, search, audit response, and document exchange with trading partners. Managing the entire workflow—from form creation to utilization—within a single process supports overall efficiency and optimization of document-based operations.

Additionally, by automatically applying timestamps and e-seals upon document storage, the authenticity of documents is ensured, supporting compliance with Japan's Electronic Recordkeeping Law. Clear retention of document history and management status strengthens internal controls and accelerates audit responses. Furthermore, exchanging documents with trading partners via 'DigitalWork Accelerator' eliminates reliance on email attachments, enabling secure and reliable data sharing. This reduces duplicate entries and manual work in form processing, minimizing human errors and improving operational efficiency. It also contributes to enhanced reliability in intercompany transactions by enabling rapid access and presentation of required documents.

Going forward, Canon MJ and Opro will continue enhancing the integration functionality and expanding the use cases for form data, as well as integrating with external services. Through these initiatives, they aim to advance document business DX across a wide range of industries and support the dual goals of improving efficiency and reliability in intercompany transactions.
