CareNet, Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Katsuhiro Fujii; hereinafter "the Company") announces that on April 1, 2026, it will undergo an absorption-type merger with its parent company, Curie1 Inc. (hereinafter "Curie1"), which will be the surviving company, and on the same date, the trade name of the surviving company will be changed to "CareNet, Inc."

As announced last year, the Company completed a tender offer (TOB) by the EQT Group and became its wholly-owned subsidiary. As part of the organizational restructuring accompanying this TOB, the Company will merge with its parent company, Curie1 Inc., on April 1, 2026.

In this merger, Curie1 Inc. will absorb the Company as the surviving company, but on the same day, the surviving company will change its trade name to "CareNet, Inc." Therefore, there will be no changes whatsoever to the Company's business operations or the structure and content of its services provided as a result of this integration.

However, we would also like to inform you that, accompanying the integration of legal entities, the corporate number and invoice registration number will change as follows:

1. Changes in Various Registration Numbers From April 1, 2026, various numbers related to transactions with the Company will change as follows. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask you to update your records.

### 2. About Future Operations Even after this integration, there will be no changes whatsoever to the Company's business operations or the support system for our business partners. The Company will continue to provide high-quality services to medical professionals and pharmaceutical companies through its "Medical x IT" platform, contributing to the realization of better healthcare.
