New Caravan Model Released: Low-Down Roof Rack Keeping Vehicle Height Under 2.1m | INNO

On May 22 (Friday), Carmate (Headquarters: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President: Masaru Tokuda) announced the addition of a Caravan-dedicated design, the "INNO Low-Down Rack for Caravan," to its popular line of low-down racks under the INNO roof carrier brand. This product can carry long ladders and is designed to keep the total vehicle height under 2.1m—the height limit for indoor parking structures—while featuring a design and color scheme that fits outdoor scenes. It is currently available at automotive supply stores and the company's official online stores.

Expanding Compatible Vehicle Lineup In June 2023, the company released a low-down rack designed specifically for the Hiace. Its low-down style, which keeps the total height under 2.1m, has been well-received and has become a flagship product for INNO professional carriers. This time, the company released a model specifically for the Caravan, which is the second most popular commercial vehicle after the Hiace. The company aims to further expand its share of the commercial carrier market by expanding its lineup.

Product Features ■ Compatible with 2.1m Indoor Parking Height Limits By adding thickness to the underside of the floor panels, rigidity is increased and deflection is reduced. This allows for a lower floor panel position, achieving a low-height design.

Design and Color Suitable for Outdoor Use Designed for individual business owners and other users who also use the Caravan as a passenger vehicle, the rack features a uniform black finish that does not look out of place when used for private outdoor activities. It also uses a two-tier side panel design that suppresses cargo shifting and makes it easier to pass straps through.

Assembly Completed on the Roof This product can be assembled directly on the roof. Since there is no need to lift a large rack assembled on the ground, it can be installed even without much space.
