Casio Signs Comprehensive Partnership Agreement with Kochi Prefecture

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has today signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with Kochi Prefecture, aiming to promote regional revitalization and social contribution.

Under this agreement, Casio will build upon its existing collaborations with Kochi Prefecture to implement the following initiatives through its business activities, targeting the promotion of sports and tourism, as well as solutions for healthcare and elderly care challenges:

Sports and Tourism Promotion:

Utilizing the app "MEGURUWAY," Casio will offer a travel guide stamp rally that encourages visitors to tour tournament venues and major tourist attractions in Kochi Prefecture during the "Casio World Open Golf Tournament."

Music Culture Promotion:

Casio will install its digital piano "Privia" as street pianos in public facilities and tourist spots across the prefecture, aiming to revitalize local communities through music.

Healthcare/Elderly Care and Tourism Promotion:

Casio will provide its AI pet robot "Moflin" as a new mental wellness solution to nursing care facilities and hospitals in Kochi Prefecture. Additionally, Moflin will greet visitors at the experiential modeling facility "Kaiyodo Space Factory Nankoku," offering healing through interaction.

Furthermore, Casio will promote the charms of Kochi Prefecture beyond its borders through various company initiatives. As a first step, the company plans to host an in-house local product exhibition and introduce special regional menu items at the employee cafeteria at its Hachioji headquarters.

To date, Casio has contributed to the sustainable development of Kochi Prefecture through initiatives such as hosting the annual "Casio World Open Golf Tournament," introducing the ICT learning application "ClassPad.net" to all prefectural high schools, and supporting local municipalities via the regional development support website "Ayamu."
