The 'CBTR2026' motorcycle touring event (organized by the CBTR2026 Executive Committee and operated by Gotochi Touring Co., Ltd.), which involves collecting digital stamps while riding around Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture, began accepting entries today, May 27th (Wed) at 12:00 PM. The rally period this year is from September 12th (Sat) to November 23rd (Mon, holiday). CBTR (Central Biwako Touring Rally) is a tourism touring rally where participants ride around Lake Biwa while collecting digital stamps. Since its first event in 2022, the cumulative number of participants has exceeded 10,000. It is one of the largest motorcycle events in the Lake Biwa area, celebrating its 5th anniversary this year. Participants can choose to visit 10 out of 15 spots or complete the full route of all 15 spots. Those who complete the required spots will be issued a 'Lake Biwa One-Lap Completion Certificate.' Furthermore, those who complete all 15 spots will receive a special 5th-anniversary 'Premium Completion Certificate Card.' To celebrate the 5th anniversary, two special projects will be held simultaneously. The 'Omi Three Camps Battle' is a special 5th-anniversary project where all participants are assigned to one of three camps—'Water,' 'Mountain,' or 'Wind'—to complete missions. Additionally, the popular mystery-solving option 'Lake Biwa King' returns with upgrades. Eleven official 5th-anniversary merchandise items, including CBTR's first original hoodies, T-shirts, and iron-on prints, will also be released. The entry plan is 5,000 yen (tax included) and is limited to the first 4,000 applicants.
