CCPJAPAN, a figure manufacturer, has announced the '1/6 Tokusatsu Series Ultraman (A Type) Spacium Ray Ultraman Birth ver.' to mark the 60th anniversary of the Ultraman series. Pre-orders for this limited-edition figure start on June 13, 2026, at the official online store 'Ultraman World M78 ONLINE.' The figure will officially release across all Ultraman World M78 physical stores on June 27, 2026. The figure recreates the initial 'Type A' suit used in the early stages of filming with a specialized monochrome color scheme, reflecting the look of archival promotional photography. It features a high-fidelity 26 cm PVC and PU design capturing the characteristic facial wrinkles, suit actor Bin Furuya's proportions, and fabric creases. This release marks the revival of the rare 'Spacium Ray' pose, which has not seen a re-release in over a decade. It comes in a special packaging showcasing original production scenery.
