Yachiyo Engineering's AI Assistant for Designers, "TERNO," Begins General Sales on July 1st; CCT Collaborated on AI Difference Extraction and Search Functions

Core Concept Technology Inc. (Head Office: Toshima-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takeshi Kaneko, hereinafter "CCT") has been collaborating on the development of "TERNO (Teruno)," an AI assistant for designers, which Yachiyo Engineering Co., Ltd. (Main Office: Taito-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tsutomu Takahashi, hereinafter "Yachiyo Engineering") has been developing. Yachiyo Engineering began offering a free trial version in June 2025, and we are pleased to announce that "TERNO" has commenced general sales on July 1, 2026.

CCT will serve as the sales agent and provide maintenance for "TERNO," and will continue to cooperate in future functional enhancements, contributing to the reduction of workload for design engineers.

Background of Development

In the field of infrastructure design, the "review" process, where a third party checks for errors and inconsistencies in the design, requires a significant amount of time for manual red-lining on paper and manual cross-referencing. This contributes to the workload of designers and the risk of omissions or errors in revisions. Furthermore, the proliferation of drawing files during the revision process and the increasing cost of managing the latest versions have also been challenges. Yachiyo Engineering began developing "TERNO" to address these issues, and CCT, with its expertise in DX support for the construction industry in addition to manufacturing, collaborated using its development platform "Orizuru."

What is "TERNO"?

"TERNO" is a cloud application that supports design and review work by leveraging AI in conjunction with Box. It includes features such as drawing version management, automatic extraction of revision differences by AI, search for similar drawings, automatic output of review history, and viewing of large-capacity 3D data.

CCT's Role

CCT was responsible for automating drawing management, which was previously done manually by design engineers, developing AI-powered difference extraction and search functions, and providing a lightweight 3D viewer utilizing CCT's development platform "Orizuru." Additionally, CCT provides ongoing support as the maintenance and sales agent for "TERNO."

・AIR: Development and provision of "AIR-Plate," specialized consulting in the architectural field.

・CCT: Sales activities for "AIR-Plate," customer implementation support, and operational stabilization support.

Introduction Effects

Utilization of "TERNO" has confirmed an approximately 30% improvement in operational efficiency compared to traditional work times (based on work time for 20 drawings, surveyed by Yachiyo Engineering).

Future Development

As a development partner, CCT will continue to cooperate in the functional expansion of "TERNO," contributing to the reduction of designers' workload and strengthening DX support for the construction industry.
