Ceres Achieves 'Kurumin' Certification as a Childcare Support Company

Ceres Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Satoshi Tsuki) announced that it has received the 'Kurumin' certification, granted by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare under the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children.

Guided by its mission, 'Flowering of Value, Future Abundance,' and a vision of 'realizing a prosperous world through internet marketing,' Ceres has been actively promoting human capital management. As part of its concrete efforts to support childcare, the company has successfully achieved a 100% childcare leave uptake rate for both male and female employees.

These ongoing efforts, with a focus on human capital, led to the current certification. Moving forward, Ceres aims to achieve the 'Platinum Kurumin' status and will continue to strive for higher ESG goals, such as acquiring certifications from EcoVadis and the Science Based Targets (SBT) initiative.
