[Cerezo Osaka] GENERATIONS Ryota Katayose to Attend the Match on August 8th (Sat)! Special Performance During Halftime!

It has been decided that Ryota Katayose of GENERATIONS will attend the match against Okayama on August 8th (Sat), which will be the opening match of the 2026/27 season! Mr. Katayose greatly helped to liven up Cerezo Osaka's 30th anniversary as the Cerezo Osaka 30th Anniversary Ambassador. This time, his first appearance in two years, he will perform at the first match to mark the start of the new season. Let's cheer on the players at the stadium together with Mr. Katayose!

Ticket sales are scheduled for advance sales for SAKURA SOCIO (fan club) members starting July 11th (Sat), and general sales starting July 18th (Thu).

Ryota Katayose Profile

Made his major debut in November 2012 as a vocalist for GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE.

Began his acting career in 2014 with the drama "GTO." His major works include the dramas "3 Nen A Gumi: Ima kara Mina-san wa, Hitojichi Desu" (’19), "Byoshitsu de Nembutsu wo Konai de" (’20), "Nami yo Kiite Kure" (’23), and "Oshi ga Jouishi ni Narimashite" (’23). In film, he starred in "Kimi ni Aitakute" (’17). In 2019, he was selected as one of "8 Next-Generation Asian Stars" by Variety and the International Film Festival Macao. Since 2021, he has been the first Japanese ambassador for GIVENCHY. Furthermore, in October 2023, he was appointed as the Cerezo Osaka 30th Anniversary Ambassador and Yao City Ambassador for Osaka Prefecture, and has been active in his hometown of Osaka, including participating in events.

In January 2024, he starred in his first stage play, "HiGH&LOW THE SENGOKU."

As a solo artist, he released his first song "Possible" in January 2020 and has released a total of six songs to date, including collaboration tracks.

On August 6, 2025, he will release his first solo album "Bouquet." On November 28th, he performed the national anthem at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers Window 1 match between the Japan Men's National Team and the Chinese Taipei Men's National Team held at GLION ARENA KOBE (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture). Furthermore, on December 22nd, he held his first solo live performance, "Ryota Katayose 'Xmas Bouquet' at BLUE NOTE PLACE."

He also connects his hobby of art to his activities. He has been appointed as the Grand Opening Ambassador for the Tottori Prefectural Museum, which will open on March 30, 2025, and is expanding his activities not only as an artist and actor but also domestically and internationally. Starting in July, he will hold "Ryota Katayose solo show 'Anthologia' vol.1 #quest" in Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Osaka.
