INFORICH Co., Ltd. announced the domestic rollout of its new rapid-charging ChargeSpot mobile battery starting in June 2026. The new model features an increased capacity of 8,000mAh (up from 5,000mAh) and supports USB PD and PPS standards with a maximum output of 22.5W (up from 10.5W), allowing faster charging for modern smartphones. Despite the significant hardware upgrades, rental fees will remain the same as the conventional standard battery. The new battery supports USB Type-C and Lightning connectors, while a version with three integrated cables is planned for future release.
The global rollout of this battery began in China in January 2026, followed by Hong Kong and Australia, before its introduction to the Japanese market. INFORICH operates ChargeSpot, Japan's leading mobile battery sharing service, with approximately 60,000 stands across Japan as of March 2026, and is expanding globally to locations such as Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, and Italy. Customers cannot specify the new rapid-charging battery model during rental.
