Chiba Kogyo Bank, Ltd. (President and CEO: Hitoshi Umeda) has announced the donation to the Chiba Prefecture Council of Social Welfare (hereinafter referred to as the Council) of an amount calculated at a rate of 0.005% based on the deposit balance of the "Support Chiba's Smiles Fixed Deposit Vol. 2 (Smile Plus Fixed Deposit 2)" which was available from December 8, 2025, to May 1, 2026.
With customer deposits totaling 15.8 billion yen for this fixed deposit, the donation amount is 794,007 yen. Please note that there is no cost to customers for this donation.
On Monday, July 6, 2026, Executive Officer Kunito Oseki presented a letter of donation to Standing Director Shigeyuki Suzuki of the Council. The funds will be used for the Support of Children Bereaved by Traffic Accidents Fund to support and encourage children bereaved by traffic accidents in Chiba Prefecture and to create safe spaces for children.
The bank will continue to contribute to the development of the local community.
