Hotel Chorakukan Hosts 'Champagne Fair 2026' in a Nationally Designated Important Cultural Property

Hotel Chorakukan (Maruyama-cho, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto; General Manager: Shigeto Yoshida) will hold its summer-limited event, 'Champagne Fair 2026,' from June 1 (Mon) to August 31 (Mon), 2026.

Set within a nationally designated Important Cultural Property built in the Meiji era as a reception hall, this special project allows guests to enjoy three world-renowned champagnes—including 'Dom Perignon Vintage 2015,' usually available only by the bottle—by the glass. Additionally, the hotel offers pairings with the 'Bellini' white peach cocktail and seasonal desserts, proposing an elegant summer moment suitable for Kyoto.

●Taittinger Brut Reserve NV: 2,800 JPY Characterized by a delicate taste centered on Chardonnay. Features clean aromas reminiscent of white flowers and citrus with elegant acidity.

●Dom Perignon Vintage 2015: 4,800 JPY A vintage champagne made from grapes of a single year, perfected through long aging.

●Moet & Chandon Moet Imperial NV: 2,600 JPY The symbol of the globally renowned maison. Features a balanced harmony of rich fruit flavors and light acidity.

*At the French restaurant 'FRENCH LE CHENE,' 'Recoltant Manipulant' champagnes will be offered by the glass on a weekly rotation.

White Peach and Champagne Pairings

●Fair-exclusive cocktail 'Bellini': 2,400 JPY (Non-alcoholic: 1,800 JPY) A cocktail blending fresh white peach with a Moet & Chandon base.

●Bellini & Peach Semifreddo (Pairing): 2,800 JPY (Non-alcoholic: 2,200 JPY) A plate combining an ice cake with a fromage aroma, peaches, raspberries, and almonds.
