Welcia Yakkyoku Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Junichi Tanaka; hereinafter "Welcia Yakkyoku") announced that as part of its food drive initiative launched in October 2025, it collected 221 kg of food at its stores during the 2025 fiscal period (October 20, 2025 – February 28, 2026) and donated the food to children's cafeterias through Foodbank Saitama.
Welcia Yakkyoku has been conducting food drive activities at 30 stores across Saitama Prefecture with the aim of reducing food loss and supporting local dietary needs. Thanks to the warm support and cooperation from local communities, a significant amount of food has been successfully delivered to those in need. This initiative is being carried out in collaboration with other group companies as part of the AEON Group.

- Unopened items - Items with expiration dates clearly marked, with at least two months remaining - Items that can be stored at room temperature (not requiring refrigeration or freezing) - Items with manufacturer or seller information indicated - Items with ingredient or allergy labeling - Rice (within two months of milling), dried noodles (such as pasta and somen), canned goods, retort meals, freeze-dried foods, instant foods, seasonings, nori, furikake, beverages, powdered milk, etc.
Alcoholic beverages (excluding mirin and cooking sake), homemade items, gift certificates (such as rice vouchers), and supplements are not accepted.
