May 10th is Goto Day!! "Goto Islands Festival in Fukuoka" to be Held Again This Year!

In conjunction with "Goto Day" on May 10th each year, an event is held to introduce the charm of Goto's tourism and food to the people of Fukuoka.

It's a 40-minute flight from Fukuoka to Fukue Island in Goto City! We will convey the charm of Goto, where abundant untouched nature remains, such as magnificent scenery and beautiful beaches.

We will offer "Goto Udon," said to be one of Japan's three great udons, and local confection "Kanboro Mochi," as well as "Onisaba Sushi," which is hard to find outside the island, for a limited two-day sale on May 9th and 10th. Furthermore, island blessings such as "Camellia Oil," Goto sweets, and marine processed products will be available!

Kibinago scooping experience from Goto & "Kibinago no Iriyaki," Goto's local dish, for tasting

This is an experience where visitors can scoop kibinago for free. This event is very popular every year with everyone from small children to the elderly!

"Kibinago no Iriyaki" is a local dish of Goto where vegetables and dashi stock are cooked together with kibinago. Please enjoy it.
