3. Target Project Mikkabi Fireworks Festival

4. Project Overview The city will support community event projects led by citizen activity groups by soliciting donations through crowdfunding.

5. Reason The Mikkabi Fireworks Festival is a representative event of the Mikkabi area, held since before 1921 (Taisho 10). It has been primarily supported by local residents, but recent surges in material and labor costs have made festival management difficult. To pass on this fireworks festival, which embodies the pride and passion of the Mikkabi area, to the next generation, it is necessary to gain support from both within and outside the area, leading to the implementation of this project.
