Background

Handa City is promoting initiatives to redefine agriculture as a "community industry" centered on interaction with citizens. In Reiwa 7 (2025), the city's agricultural businesses, "Oishii Mura Co., Ltd." and "NAORICE Co., Ltd.," received certification under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries' "Comprehensive Business Plan."

Taking this opportunity, this forum is being held with the aim of more strongly positioning agriculture as a "regional industry."

Content

Local farmers, companies, and investors will collaborate to create new value and a sustainable future for agriculture, addressing regional challenges such as a shortage of successors, farm succession, and the widening gap between citizens and agriculture.

On the day, we will leverage the "spirit of initiative" cultivated by Handa's history and climate, and use the reverse pitch format to share regional issues and match funding, technology, and human resources.
