For 87 years since the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hino Factory in 1939, Hino Motors, headquartered in Hino City, has built a strong relationship with the city as a locally rooted commercial vehicle manufacturer. In December 2021, the company signed a collaboration agreement centered on the Hino Motors Rugby Team, actively participating in community events and local initiatives through the 'Hino Red Dolphins' to enrich various fields such as sports and education, contributing to regional development.
This comprehensive agreement aims to solve regional challenges through co-creation initiatives that effectively utilize each party's intellectual, physical, and human resources. With the signing as an opportunity, both parties plan to deepen collaboration further in areas such as environmental sustainability and education, and will discuss and examine specific initiatives in the future. Together, they will explore possibilities for cooperation leveraging Hino Motors' technologies and expertise toward Hino City's advanced urban development goals, including the realization of a 'circular zero-waste society.'
Moving forward, Hino City and Hino Motors will work hand in hand, strengthening collaboration in a wide range of fields such as sustainable urban development, tourism and industrial promotion, disaster prevention and crime prevention, education and sports, and health promotion, to advance regional development.
