Eligibility Requirements

Administrative Positions…Born on or after April 2, 1997, with a high school diploma or higher (including those expected to graduate by March 31, 2027)

Administrative Positions [Disabled]…Born on or after April 2, 1992, with a high school diploma or higher, and meeting all the following requirements (including those expected to graduate by March 31, 2027) • Holding a Physical Disability Certificate, Rehabilitation Certificate, or Mental Disability Welfare Certificate at the time of application • Able to commute to work independently and perform administrative duties without a caregiver • Able to work regular hours (generally 38 hours and 45 minutes per week, 7 hours and 45 minutes per day) • Able to respond to questions presented in printed text or on a computer screen, and oral questions

Administrative Positions [Librarian]…Born on or after April 2, 1990, with a high school diploma or higher, and meeting the following requirements (including those expected to graduate by March 31, 2027) • Holding a Librarian qualification (including those expected to obtain the qualification by March 31, 2027)

Civil Engineering Positions A…Born on or after April 2, 1990, with a high school diploma or higher, and meeting the following requirements (including those expected to graduate by March 31, 2027) • Graduated from a department or faculty related to civil engineering or water supply (such as Civil Engineering, Urban Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning) (including those expected to graduate by March 31, 2027)

Civil Engineering Positions B…Born on or after April 2, 1990, with a high school diploma or higher, and meeting the following requirements (including those expected to graduate by March 31, 2027) • Holding at least one of the following qualifications: Certified Engineer (Construction or Water Supply Department), RCCM (Road, Water Supply, Sewerage, or Urban Planning Department), or Civil Engineering Construction Management Technician (1st or 2nd Class) (including those expected to obtain the qualification by March 31, 2027)

Dietitians…Born on or after April 2, 1992, with a high school diploma or higher, and meeting the following requirements (including those expected to graduate by March 31, 2027) • Holding a Dietitian qualification (including those expected to obtain the qualification by March 31, 2027)

Firefighters…Born on or after April 2, 1997, with a high school diploma or higher (including those expected to graduate by March 31, 2027) *Including those holding or expected to obtain an Emergency Medical Technician qualification

*Note: Even if you meet the above qualifications, you cannot take the exam if you meet the disqualification criteria. Additionally, you cannot take the exam in multiple categories.

About Hitachioota City

Official Mascot Character Joudzuru-san

Located in the northern part of Ibaraki Prefecture, Hitachioota City is about 20 km from Mito City and approximately 120 km from the city center.
